General Motors has totally reimagined the Hummer, making it less of a jeep, and more of a super-powerful, electric four-door crew cab pickup.
It will only come fully loaded and is expected to be at dealerships across Canada in 2022. But you’ll want to get on the waiting list now because Hummers are available by reservation only.
Reservations require a minimal refundable down payment. Once we get your reservation, we will send you updates until the truck is delivered to our dealership.
Some good things to know:
- The Hummer is expected to have a driving range of up to 400 miles, giving it one of the longest ranges of any all-electric vehicle.
- Over the last three years the number of charging stations has almost doubled. However, over 75% of the people who buy an electric vehicle, charge their batteries at home.
- Electric vehicles have fewer moving parts than the internal combustion engine, and that means there’s less to maintain, so repairs and maintenance will cost less.
- There are federal and provincial incentives, tax credits and rebates may be available to effectively reduce the price, whether you buy or lease a Hummer EV. There may also be similar ways to save to your EV charger.
